There's a place next to PUBLICs at New Macland, called Mom's, or something like that. Some guys I work with say it has a good lunch buffet. And its right across from a gravel semi-official SCT parking lot.

If you like Mexican, La Parilla is pretty good. Corner of Powder Springs & Austell-Powder Springs Rd.

There's also good barbecue at Johnny's, just before you get to La Parilla on the right and a Mexican restaurant on the square called Los Portales that's pretty tasty.

I still break out in a cold sweat remembering the time I went to Johnny's...both the food and the place was nasty! To each his (or her) own, I guess!

Johnny's has had 3 different owner in the past 3 years, so we must have hit it at different times.
There's a new pizza/pasta buffet place next to the Amoco called Sue-b-dos. Pretty good and CHEAP. ![]() ![]() |

And let's not forget that most famous restaurant with the french flavor, Le Hous' de Waffle, which is next to Sue-B-Do's.
