Join us for the Land of Sunsets Century. Beginning at the Hiram trailhead of the SCT at 9:00AM. We stay on the trail until Rockmart. Then head out on lightly traveled roads into Cedartown where we pick up the SCT again out to the Ga/Al state line. Returning to Rockmart on lightly traveled roads where we will pick up the SCT again for the return to Hiram.
This is designed to be a first timers century. It is also a great route for experienced century riders. IF you can ride to Rockmart and back with some reserve you will likely be able to do this one. It is the flattest century I know of in Ga. The out-and-back routes are nearly parallel, you can make it any distance you like, bail if your having trouble we'll pick you up on the way back. Remember it basically follows a rail route it has to be gentle grades.
