Have been riding a nice loop on the Ladiga from the Piedmont welcome center going east to the end of the paving, from there across the unpaved portion to Borden Springs, from Borden Springs back on the paved road. This is a great loop, I'm guessing around 20 miles or so. A friend of mine have been riding this loop most Saturdays around 3pm and finishing just about dark. Would love for someone to come and experience this very nice loop with us. We've been riding on mountain bikes, as the unpaved is a bit rough for road bikes. What about it, any takers. Will be riding this Sat and Sun weather permitting. This is an excellent loop for mountain bikes, and it won't be this way for long as the paving is on the way, and the word I heard just this week was that it will all be paved by April.
