MAN ATTACKED ON THE TRAIL
Cobb County Police reported that a lone male cyclist was mugged (beaten up and robbed)at about 4:15 PM Sunday, August 5th, on the Trail where it crosses Anderson Mill Road (approximately the 5 mile mark). The reported assailants were three young black men; one of them was later caught and arrested. The injured man apparently was treated at a local hospital and released.
